Always there, Everywhere...

    My *friend*

All around me and all day long...

   I didn't notice.

A sense of something,

   but not sure what.

Little by little - realization.

   Yet, not.

Heading for home, feeling so in awe,

   still, not sure why ..

until moments later.

Reviewing the day, images stay...

   And finally ...

Someone touched me!

You, my friend, so warm and sweet ...

   Listen, feel and encourage.

Confidence building,

   and self-image heightened;

So enlightened is my sense of being.

You, my *friend*, rescue me.

   A warm hug - late in the night..

Did you know?

   It was there.
